What is Lilac Ash Borer?
Lilac Ash Borer is a common wood borer in North America and is commonly associated with Ash trees. Damage to Ash trees Is caused by the larvae, they tunnel into the trunk and lower branches causing wounds just underneath the bark layer. External evidence of the Lilac Ash Borer is a thinning canopy, abnormal die back, usually large leads, and circle exit holes along the trunk and lower branches.
